From Natural Ingredients to Loyal Riders: Why Equestrians Love Roxy & Bumble

Let's be real: horse people are picky. We'll spend twenty minutes debating which brush works best on a muddy fetlock. So when riders keep coming back to the same shop, there's usually a good reason.

At Roxy & Bumble, we'd like to think there are a few. Here's what we're all about.

The 100% Natural Promise

We don't stock a lot of brands. That's on purpose. Every product on our shelves has to earn its spot, and our standards are simple:

  • No harsh chemicals. If it has damaging ingredients, it's not coming through our door.
  • Tried, tested, and true. We use every product ourselves before we sell it. (Our horses are very thorough product testers. Some of them are also very dramatic about it.)
  • Elegant by design. Your grooming kit should look as good as your horse does after using it.
  • Safe for every day. Everything we carry is gentle enough for daily use, and we encourage it!
  • Customer care, guaranteed. Your happiness and trust mean everything to us.

The Brands We Love

"Natural" only matters if the product works. Here's a peek at the brands on our shelves:

HSE (Hi-Shine Equine) makes our best-selling Hot Oil, balanced to the pH of horse skin and free of silicones, so you get a gorgeous shine without a slippery saddle. It's a conditioner, grooming spray, detangler, and show makeup in one bottle. (See all seven ways to use it here.)

Nags to Riches (NTR) is the secret weapon for show day. From plait boosters and plaiting kits to quarter marking sprays that keep your sharks' teeth crisp all day, NTR makes turnout look effortless, even when you were up at 4 a.m. braiding by headlamp.

Nellumbo is a small company from Brittany, France, that makes skin and leg care with French green clay, sea water, and carefully chosen essential oils. Their poultices soothe tired legs and, unlike the stuff many of us grew up with, rinse off without a fight. (Read our full poultice deep-dive here.)

Equimour brings beauty to the basics. Their brushes, hoof picks, and grooming bags are made from natural materials like wood, goat hair, horsehair, coconut fiber, and sisal, with vegan leather accents. They're as lovely to look at as they are to use, and natural bristles don't build up static, so no more zapping your horse (or yourself).

Here's the best part: you'll only find Hi-Shine Equine and Nags to Riches in the USA at Roxy & Bumble. We chose every one of these brands because they care about the same things we do: healthy horses, quality you can feel, and results you can see.

Learning Together

We believe an informed rider makes the best choices for their horse. That's why we'd rather teach you about a product than just sell it to you.

Our blog breaks down the "why" behind the products in your barn, like what poultice is actually made of and whether you should wrap it. On social media, we share tips, answer questions, and celebrate our community's wins.

Out in the Horse World

You'll find us at trade fairs and horse shows from March through September, where you can see, smell, and test products in person. (Fair warning: we tend to sell out, so come early!)

We also love supporting riders in the ring. We recently sponsored the Best Groomed Horse award at the Sundance Horse Trial, celebrating the riders whose attention to detail shows in every gleaming coat.

[Optional: Rewards and discounts. Add details here about any welcome discount, seasonal sales, or loyalty program you offer.]

Why It All Matters

At the end of the day, we're horse people too. We know what it's like to stand in a tack shop wondering whether a product is worth it, and we want Roxy & Bumble to be the place where you never have to wonder.
